Enjoy these pictures from the Law Enforcement Torch Run International Conference in Las Vegas. Our MCPD Officer Dustin Sloan recently attended this event.
The big group picture is the Montana team. It consists of officers who participated in fundraising for the Special Olympics program. Those of us invited succeeded in raising more than $20,000 for the Special Olympics athletes in each of our respective communities in 2018. 60% of what was raised locally stays in our community. Montana totaled over $600,000 this year and Miles City received its 1st ever invite to the international conference since its inception in 1981.
In addition to the law enforcement officers at the conference, there were Special Olympics program directors and also athletes who attended. Attorney General Tim Fox was also in attendance.
