The majority of the Miles City Firehouse has been condemned and must be evacuated. Emergency responders and equipment will not be able to be housed in the current building. Also, as of May 2018, the Miles City Police Department is now required to pay $3100 monthly for rent at the VA. Miles City department administrators with the Miles City City Council have been looking into possible alternatives and avenues to address these concerns while still maintaining a professional emergency response to the citizens of Miles City.
The Miles City Police Department, Miles City Fire and Rescue and Miles City City Council would like to invite you to a Public Informational Meeting at MCC room 106 on Wednesday, July 18th at 5:30pm. The departments will be presenting options and answering questions from the public regarding new potential locations for a joint emergency center.
