MCPD held the Shop with a Cop event on December 16th at Washington Middle School. The kids as well as the officers had a blast!
A huge thanks to all the officers involved: Denise Bontrager for setting up the event, Justin Qualley, Dustin Sloan, Mark Reddick, Fred Lee, Coy Sheets, Reserve Officer Ben Rice and MHP troopers Brandon Kelm and Collen Timmins!
Also a big thanks to the volunteers for setting up the food and drinks and helping with wrapping gifts.
The officers took 18 kids shopping and because of the generous donations by Albertson’s, Steadman’s Ace Hardware, Reynolds, City Brew, Pizza Hut and Kangaroo Rentals. It turned out to be a great day.
